Vetta

Hospitality / Restaurant

A self-initiated concept exploring how a contemporary Italian restaurant could translate atmosphere, food, and hospitality into a digital experience designed to move guests from discovery to reservation.

Creative brief

A restaurant website often shapes expectations before a guest ever walks through the door. The experience needs to communicate the character of the restaurant while making essential information easy to find.

For Vetta, the concept explores how imagery, menu presentation, storytelling, and clear reservation pathways could work together as one guest journey — from first impression to deciding to book.

The project is intentionally self-initiated. It explores a possible digital direction for a fictional contemporary Italian restaurant rather than representing completed client work or measured business results.

  • Create a distinctive first impression around food and atmosphere
  • Make menus easy to discover and explore
  • Keep essential guest information clear and accessible
  • Create a natural path from interest to reservation
  • Design a mobile experience for guests making decisions on the go
  • Build a flexible foundation for private dining, events, and evolving restaurant content

Design direction

Dark, cinematic, and hospitality-led — combining atmosphere-forward imagery, restrained typography, and generous pacing to create a sense of anticipation before the guest arrives. The interface should feel premium without competing with the food, space, and experience it is designed to present.

Digital approach

From first look
to reservation.

The digital experience should guide a potential guest naturally from curiosity to confidence to action.

  1. 01

    Create the desire to visit

Use imagery, food, atmosphere, and concise storytelling to establish the experience quickly.

  2. 02

    Make decisions easy

Menus, hours, dining information, and other important details should be easy to find without searching through the site.

  3. 03

    Make the next step obvious

When a guest is ready to book, the path to reservation should feel immediate and uncomplicated.

Honesty note

Not a real client engagement

Vetta is a self-initiated concept created by Ontani Studio. It does not represent an operating restaurant, commissioned client work, completed engagement, real location, actual menu, reservations, reviews, awards, or measured business results.
